Join the Future of Home Building with Proteus Homes!
Are you ready to be part of a team that’s revolutionizing the way homes are built? At Proteus Homes, we’re not just building houses—we’re transforming the home-building experience. Using our custom panalized build system, we deliver custom homes and ADU's we build Better, Faster.
Who We Are
We are a young, fast-growing company on a mission to completely change how homes are built. By using our own build methods and design tools, we build better and faster. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team at the ground level. Because we are growing quickly, your role and responsibilities will expand as we do.
The Role
As a key early-stage team member, you will learn our unique construction process inside and out. You will be the go-to person for project schedules and budgets. Working closely with our site superintendents, you will help guide every project smoothly from the first day of construction to the final walkthrough.
What You’ll Do
- Keep things moving: Work directly with trades and team members to hit deadlines and ensure timely project completion.
- Manage the details: Handle RFIs, clarify drawings, and keep all project files digital, accurate, and up to date.
- Connect with clients: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners. You will provide weekly updates and answer their questions about what happens next.
- Track the budget: Process invoices, monitor project expenses against the budget, and help prepare monthly draw requests.
- Drive quality: Help organize final walkthroughs, manage punch lists, and make sure every home meets our high standards.
What You Bring
- Solid experience: 2+ years in construction coordination or a similar role. Residential experience gives you a significant advantage.
- Tech skills: You are comfortable using project management software like Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or Procore, along with Microsoft Excel.
- Sharp organization: You pay close attention to the details and never let a deadline slip past you.
- Great communication: You are just as comfortable learning from a framing crew in the morning as you are presenting a budget update to a homeowner in the afternoon.
- Adaptability: Construction throws curveballs. When weather delays or supply chain hiccups happen, you stay calm and find a solution.
If you want to help shape the future of home building and grow your career alongside a dynamic team, we want to hear from you.
