Architectural CAD/Revit Drafter II
Pay Range: $26 – $32 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: FULL- TIME or PART - TIME depending on availability
Hybrid Office/Home: Monday through Friday
Start Date: As soon as possible
Skills and Qualifications:
Using information provided on specifications for structures, drawing structures based on the said
specifications, specifying the dimensions of your drawings using CAD/BIM software, collaborating with
coworkers on the best presentation of their drawings, recognizing design flaws and make revisions
when needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Uses computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create full-scale and detailed designs ofbuildings and interiors from Design Director’s schematic design.
Studies building codes/ regulations and determines how they will affect architectural designs.
Organizes structural, electrical, and mechanical designs.
Draws plans for right-of-way (ROW) work, Grading plans, buildings, and structures based on
instructions provided by engineers and design professionals.
Visits jobsites to gather data needed to complete designs.
Interacts with City/ County officials to address permit plan-check comments and requested
clarifications
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Extensive knowledge of REVIT/ CAD software and other architectural drafting tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree in Drafting or at least three years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
